We are offering a new opportunity for CATERERS AND RESTAURANTS to serve their food inside the Chamber of Commerce building next to the Superman Statue on a weekly basis.
The Metropolis Chamber of Commerce will provide space to a food vendor during normal office hours. Please note that office hours change throughout the year, depending on the season.
The food vendor may use the kitchen and serving area to serve food to customers. All food must be prepared off site.
The food vendor must provide a copy of a current Food Sanitation Manager Certificate as well proof of insurance for operating in the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce.
Vendor will provide their own supplies and will be responsible for bussing tables as well as all clean-up of tables, kitchen and serving area each day. Vendor will remove all garbage and place in proper trash receptacles outside the Chamber of Commerce office at the end of each day. The vendor must stop serving food and have area cleaned up in order for Chamber of Commerce employee to close the office on time each day. The vendor will not be allowed to be in the Chamber of Commerce building without a Chamber of Commerce employee present.
No children under the age of 15 will be allowed in the kitchen or serving area.
The vendor is encouraged to provide their menu and prices in advance for the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce to advertise through emails and social media. The vendor is encouraged to consider serving food on Mondays, when other restaurants in Metropolis are closed.
Vendor must commit to a minimum of 1 week, however may set their own days and hours they serve food, as long as it is during hours the Metropolis Chamber of Commerce is open. Weeks will run Monday thru Sunday. Vendors may work with another vendor, but each will sign a contract, provide documentation, and pay their appropriate fee. Fee must be paid in full when contract is submitted.
Vendor Fee: $100 for members of Metropolis Chamber of Commerce for 1 week
$150 for non-members for 1 week.
The Metropolis Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time.
